July’s Monthly Closes:

This month’s bear market brought largely sideways-moving prices. Headlines were dominated by stock market volatility surrounding AI names. I’ve largely kept my attention away from markets this month, and was happy to see a bit of upward momentum in some tokens but am ultimately still braced for worse.
⚠️ Max’s Telegram Impersonator Still at Large
Max’s hacked telegram account is highly active, inviting contacts to book a meeting, where a link is shared to “fix” your audio issues, which downloads and runs a malicious script on your computer. When in doubt, reach out to me on LinkedIn, via email, or on Twitter. Please be vigilant. The easiest way to confirm someone’s identity is to ask a question about a real-life meeting. (“When was the last time we met in person? What did we talk about?”)
⚖️ On-chain Governance & Community Calls
Both Sui and Solana have made progress establishing on-chain governance frameworks and voting platforms. This progress is summarized on my aptly named websites suigovernance.com and solanagovernance.com, for anyone that’s curious. In addition to maintaining these websites I continue to organize forums for governance debate: the monthly Solana and Sui Validator community calls.
💧 Sui Tiderunner & Hashi
It’s not just governance where Sui has made progress: we’re one of the first validators to test Sui’s new Tiderunner database on our mainnet validators. This, while we join other testnet validators in rolling out Hashi, a native Bitcoin bridge. We also enjoyed an initial conversation with Birdai, a new team off a fresh seed raise, aiming to build fair MEV distribution infrastructure for Sui.
🟣 RevTec Tools Buildout
As part of my vibe coding arc, I have built out tools.revtec.fi for users seeking more information about the protocol, its tokens, and the PnL of their positions.
✈️ See You At Solana Summit Belgrade
My flights are booked for Solana Summit Serbia, on August 26th & 27th. Having missed the Solana Summit in my hometown of Berlin, the FOMO is now drawing me to Belgrade. I expect good vibes and hopefully a few productive conversations regarding RevTec’s go-to-market.
